Breakfast with the Bunnies and Uncle Jim's Vacation to Chicago

Mom and I are so busy we're still playing a bit of catch up on the blog.

First up, I'd like to show you how we spent the "Calendar" Easter at Brookfield Zoo. So much fun! The Banjo Bunnies played the music and I got to do some serious dancing with mom. She says I have fancy foot work!

Next on my list, at the end of April the Great Gardener himself, my Uncle Jim came to Chicago to help me plant my first Garden. Don't worry Uncle Jim, I'll do the watering and I won't let Mom kill the plants.

Then of course we HAD to take Uncle Jim to Brookfield Zoo!

Then on May 1, Mom marched in the St. Jude's Memorial March. It's a parade to honor Chicago's Police Officers who gave their lives in the performance of their duty.

Finally, this is one of my favorite pictures of my Au Pair, Gift and I that was taken as we were waiting for the Parade's step off. It was an early day, we were here at the Museum Campus at 7:00 in the morning!

What can I say, I've loved this rockin' version for as long as I can remember

Mike Offutt

Mom and I had an adventure to the library one day to catch Mike Offutt's Ultimate Science Show. This guy is amazing! You too will want to become a scientist after spending a half hour with him. And something else amazing? He doesn't talk to children like we're idiots. Sheesh! It's not difficult people! Mr. Offutt gets you to consider is it magic? or is it science? Well he's pretty magical in my mind, even if he is a scientist.

If you have the opportunity, try and catch him at some of his upcoming events:

Heritage Festival: June 24, 2006
Downers Grove, Illinois

Inventive Genius Lecture Series: July 8, 2006
For the whole family
Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, IL
Museum of Science and Industry? I LOVE that place! Perhaps you will catch mom and I there too.

Easter and St. Patrick Day Highlights

Here's a two for one post! What can I say, Mom and I have been busy! I'll show you soon what we have been up to...keep watching!

Can I just say how much I love riding the train?
