The Halloween Party!
Mom and I organized our very first Halloween Party!
ahem...did you know that you have to fill up a pinata by yourself? That it doesn't come with the goodies already inside? Who knew? Well Mom didn't. I got to pick what we put in! So I choose hopping thingies, frogs and lizards! Mom suggested braclets for the girls though, I thought that was a GREAT idea. Girls are just so CUTE!! Especially if they're blond. And these girls were dressed like ladybugs, butterflies and bumblebees! I was so delighted I could hardly contain myself! Kisses all around. Whoo Hoo!
All in all, I thought Mom, Nuch and I did a fine job on our first party. Don't you?

The Cookie Contest
Don't get too excited, we didn't even come in third place. But sometimes, it's not about the prize, it's about the process...I love you mom!

Apple Picking Part Two!
I can do lots of things! I can sleep, I can use the potty, I can play with play dough. I'm not a baby I'm a big boy! I can even cook! Mom, Nuch and I used our apples to make applesauce, apple juice, apple cake, and our favorite: apple pie! Watch me peel the apples! So cool.

Countyline Orchard
Mom was in the mood for apple picking, but I snarfed 3 pumpkins to take home as well!
Countyline Orchard is really beautiful with tons of apples to pick and a really nice staff! Not to mention wonderful activities and kissy goats! Last year, we went to Bengston's Pumpkin Farm for our Halloween Pumpkins, I had fun but it was not really a working farm like Countyline is. Bengston's animontronics which are in desperate need of baths cannot compare to the live animals of Countyline or the GREAT Moo Choo train!
While I highly recomend this orchard for all of your apple pie and pumpkin needs, the roadways in are under constructions. Mom and Nuch got lost several times as the mean ol' construction crews had removed all the road signs. Be sure to call in advance for detailed directions. This orchard gets a 4 star rating (One star zapped for Mom's frustration level trying to find the place)!
Marble Run
Uncle Jim sent me a Target gift card in the mail as a late birthday present. Mom said that I could choose any toy that I wanted and I picked Marble Run! I love this thing! It's one of the only things currently as interesting as Donald Duck cartoons. I think what I love best about this toy is that it's a team project, Mom and Nuch have to help me build this, but we all think that's part of the fun!

2008 Bristol Renaissance Faire
My mother has always loved the Bristol Renaissance Faire. She knows like EVERYONE there! Patrons, actors, merchants, all kinds of people! This year she dressed Nuch and I up in costume and took us there.
Our favorite of the shows were the acrobatic team Barely Balanced and of course The Joust performed by The Hanlon-Lee Action Theatre. There is just so much to do and see there it takes more than one day! I want to go back! This definately gets a Tynan Five Star Rating!!

Mommy's Birthday
These photos were taken at the Bedford Park Lily Pad. I had a great time after I got over the intial shock of being sprayed, but as delightful as it was it pales in comparison to Chicago's Hale Park. Bedford Park also had not updated their website to indicate the change of public hours. Monday through Thursday, the Lily Pad is not open to the public until 2:30.

A Day at Brookfield Zoo
Mom, Nuch and I have a membership to Brookfield Zoo, and it has more than paid for itself. There is always something new to see here and the zoo is great about bringing in special programing. Today, Cookie the Coctatoo, one of Brookfield's original animal's turned 75! Whoa! And they had a little party for him. Without a membership, Brookfield can be a bit pricey as some exhibits like the Dolphin show, Children's Play Zoo, and the Butterfly exhibit all cost a few dollars extra (even for members). Therefore, the price factor knocks down my rating to four stars.
